EyeTok: Analysis of Dry Eye Content on TikTok
Ophthalmologist-generated content is more reliable and higher quality, but all groups produce content that is understandable and actionable yet lacks transparency. Further, engagement cannot be used to estimate the quality of content. These findings highlight an opportunity for ophthalmologists to improve patient education online and expand their presence on TikTok to deliver accurate, transparent dry eye education.

Association Between Semaglutide and Risk of CRAO in T2DM
These findings suggest a differential risk profile within the GLP-1 receptor agonist class and raise the possibility that semaglutide may confer a relative protective association against retinal arterial occlusive events. While prior literature has raised concern regarding GLP-1 receptor agonists and retinal vascular complications, our results indicate that this risk may not be uniform across agents.
